When selecting crystals your intuition knows best regardless of the size. Your body and mind knows what will heal it so go with what you feel drawn to. Crystals all have a frequency depending on their compound and how they were created by the earth. Although size can somewhat amplify the abundance of a frequency because there is more of the crystal, it is still going to be the same frequency.
